Scholarship Raffle
Please bring an item for the Scholarship Raffle!
It’s fun and the money is used to fund Biology scholarships ($300 apiece) for the students of those attending the Conference.
Items donated in the past include food, wine, beer, coffee, chocolate, personal care items, books, themed baskets, art, pottery, etc.
Raffle tickets cost $1 each; 6 for $5; 15 for $10; 35 for $20; 100 for $50. Tickets are placed in bins associated with each item donated and the winning ticket is pulled at random.
Each Conference participant receives one Scholarship Raffle ticket. If you purchase $50 in tickets, you earn an extra Scholarship Raffle ticket. And as a bonus, if you donate an item for the raffle, you earn an extra Scholarship Raffle ticket. The tickets are placed in a bin and the winning $300 scholarships are pulled at random.
The more that is donated, the more scholarships we give away to you and your students. If you are full-time, please show your appreciation for the job you have and try to budget a raffle item as well as a donation of $50 for the Scholarship Raffle.
